Guardian of the Fieldsby NstiG8trComment: Nice tree, composition and setting. But the colors and lighting seem off to me, posibly just over exposed. Might need a bit more contrast and saturation. |

New Day!by davidus428Comment: I am sure this will seem narrow minded, but I have a thing about horizons that aren't, well, horizontal. Staighten the photo and I could give it a point or 2 more. Otherwise a beautiful setting. Nice colors. Well focused. Nice concept well executed. |

First Sprinkleby SherwinJamesComment: Dramatic image. I like the contrast between the leaves and the background. The light rays are a nice touch. In short a very nice photo but I don't really see a tree here. Just a twig. |

Bent But Not Broken by jrjrComment: Beautiful tones on the wood of the tree. Dramatic setting. Among the best I've seen so far. |

Oasisby MichaelCComment: I like that your tree is presented in an interesting context. Well done and unusual for the challenge. It may be a little too soft and i might have brought it just a little closer ... but very well done. |

The Recruiting Processby tateComment: I like the photo. Sky is nicely colored and does a nice job setting off the shilouette of the tree. However, the presence of the child in the photo hurts, not because of the child per se, but by leaving room for him, the photo is unbalanced and seems to be falling over. If you had cropped it closer in the left, I don't think it would feel that way. |

Bonsai !!!by ShutterPugComment: This may be a legitimate photo or a real bonsai, a real moon, and a real pool ... but it appears to be a bonsai in front of another photo or possibly in front of your monitor dispalying the background. There's somethign about it, it just doesn't feel real somehow. |

-^-by ralphComment: Even with the bowl shaped horizon, I really like this. Assuming you took it with a super wide lens, I wonder if you could have adjusted the distortion in PS. If so, I would have given it an extra poont or 2. |
