Seems like you're shoehorning this otherwise fine photo into the challenge. btw, fusion isn't a chemical reaction.

I love the light on the glass beaker. The focus is very good. But the bright band of light on the right over powers the photo.

Great concept. I think it would have greater impact if focus on the bubbles were stronger. Maybe a litle edge sharpenig would help, or sharpening with the high pass filter.

My first impression of this was very good. Upon reflection, I think the border hurts the photo and the green cast is less effective than if yu had fully desaturated it.
