Other than the title, I don't get the connection with the challenge theme. I suppose you were there and were partaking of the titled adult beverage, so maybe you are emotionally connected with the people or the situation. I do like your processing in as much as it reinforces the title. The subjects and their expressions fit into that context. But without that personal connection, the photo isn't very interesting to me.

I get the political statement (even though �whales� is misspelled. How embarrassing! Or are you worried about Wales, part of the UK? Sorry, I digress.) Your choice of colors is certainly jarring and would capture my attention if I saw it in a magazine ad, for example. It is itchy, and it makes me uncomfortable with the notion of whaling. Retro border works. So you have succeeded well at conveying an emotional payload with your photo. Good! But I can't honestly say I like the photo.
