Grateful for Small Merciesby Mr_PantsComment: It's very good how you used highlihts to catch his face, the mug and the graphic on his shirt ... all of which combine to paint his reactions to life and the situation. I fear this may be under appreciated by voters. Hope not. |

Nobody is Waitingby pixelpigComment: I'm seeing chairs, but not a bench in sight. That said, it's a lovely photo and among the best in show. |

late fall for a benchby whiterookComment: Nice bench and nice setting. I might have cropped it differently to move the bench to the left in the frame. That would deemphasize the shrubery which unbalances the image a bit IMO. |

Ocean Viewby MaryOComment: Nice capture of a nice place. Makes me want to sit a spell. Pastels seem peaceful. |

A quiet spotby ButterflyGirlComment: Fantastic capture. The face on the bench is superb. Diagonal composition is terrific. Among best of show. |

Waitingby sfaliceComment: Made me smile. I like the "totem" behind the bench. Warms up an otherwise dreary setting. Nice catch! |

Midnight Lossby Moose408Comment: Good workmanlike photo. Good eye for the composition. Technicals are all good. But in the end, it doesn't make me linger. |

Aloneby KincaHUNComment: I like the subject and much about the photo generally. The tone mapping goes beyond my comfort zone. I'm a nut about tilt and generally prefer to see it eliminated ... but in this case I think it makes it more interesting than it would have been if straightened. Good choice. |
