Hudson Riverby pitsamanComment: Oh the good ol' Hudson...Funny how it gets to be over a mile wide by me! It's a lot of fun to follow it up all the way into the picturesque Adirondacks. If you haven't yet, you should see when it's frozen...when there is a very cold winter, even parts that are a mile wide become frozen and it is just spectacular! Great shot of a great river. I feel this shot is almost perfect except for a few spots in the sky where you can see the clicks of burning. Only small things though---beautiful! |

Variations on a Chromatic Scaleby jjbeguinComment: I like this idea a lot. Unfortuantely, for those of less musical knowledge, this will not make sense and not score highly. A 9 from me for originality. |

Samuraiby ImagineerComment: Very cool lioghting. I like how the blue balances out with the bright yellow. Nice exposure and very good idea to include people there, rather than just the ride. It provides a more interesting subject matter. Good job. |

Jenny and Jackby Prof_FateComment: This is a mediocre shot. It has a snapshot feel to it. I like the subject matter though, the horses are beautiful and are framed well. |

Day's Endby davidbedardComment: Nice work on a pretty cliche sunset shot. The inclusion of the bird helps the photo out a lot and the space on the right is very nice and allows some breathing room for the subject. Well composed, good job. |

Fallby WildpurpleComment: Nice lighting that is not too harsh...it helps to separate the subject from the background. Very good detail as well. Not to candy coat everything, but it is technically right-on, but the subject matter is a little bit uninteresting. I still set this apart from some of the other middle of the road fall leaf photographs. Good job. |

Autumn Waterfallby slynneblarpComment: Good choice of shutter speed to give this a cool, flowing effect. One bit of a suggestion is to place the waterfall more to the right or left of the frame in order to compose it. This would call for a reshoot of the area, but would also improve the image tremendously. |
