Au Naturalby joyinlightComment: Great shot from an interesting angle. I like how the red color is reflected from the lips to the piece of cloth in the bottom right corner. The image has a pleasing softness with a good use of selective DOF. Superb. |

bud and thornsby NRRonComment: A fair attempt at a macro. I would have at least cropped out the thorn sticking out of the edge of the photo in the bottom left. Next time you try something like this, try for a striking and fresh composition. How about trying it with the stem going from the top left corner of the frame across diagonally into the bottom right? The more you play around with creative compostion in-camera, the more fun you'll have and the more striking the image can become. |

In the Path of Havocby CutterComment: Great colors here with a great cloud. This image in itself gets an 8 from me. However, had you thought of bringing along a ND filter? Coupled with this shot, a long exposure, thus blurring the waves and water into a misty softness, could have been very effective. Just a suggestion --- wonderful shot with an effective D&B treatment to it. |

Waiting for Charlieby ellamayComment: Interesting angle for fasion. Almost makes the model look like a doll. Overall the image seems a tad flat to me. |

Hibiscusby lentilComment: I dont know your cameras controls, but perhaps a smaller aperture and thus a greater DOF could have been used to get more of the shot in focus. |

Pinkby sofapComment: An elegant softness to this image. I feel that her face could use a tad more light (perhaps through a snoot at least on her eye or a reflector to bounce some light onto her face) . Good studio portrait. |

Ponce Inlet Lighthouseby wmprkgComment: Great shot that is minimalistic in a sense to me. The focal point jumps out at you and the composition somhow works. I know it's cliche, but maybe having a child jumping through the shot or something of that matter, in dark clothing, would make the image have some pop to balance out the focal point. Just a suggestion. Good stuff! |
