I see what you were trying, so I offer this suggestion to you. The left hand of the photograph, is basically doing nothing for the photo. I would crop the photo at the end of the building, give you shape, color, and the sky would be broken up by the cloud, and it would make this photo very much more impacting.

First, let me say that I'm a huge portrait fan. I love this portrait. I'm not sure about the guy in red, as he takes attention off of the pretty woman.
