hrm. a signet is a personal seal used to show authenticity of a document. a cygnet is a young swan. i suspect you mean the latter, unless you plan to dip this bird in wax and stamp it on a document ;]

holy christ, I can't BELIEVE how low this score is. this was definitely one of my favorite images in the challenge; I gave it an 8. the color scheme is strong, the use of purple is not contrived (unlike the top two photos in this challenge, which were clearly edited to include purple), the composition is unusual and refreshing, and the subject matter is unique. really, the ~4.9 score is baffling. what were the voters thinking!??!@?!@?
