delusionby whiteroomComment: this picture is great! it's such a wonderful candid in every way. could this be BradP? well, I think it could be, even if it's not. |

On The Rocks?by datcatComment: I'm trying to think of how you did this, and I can't really be sure, thought I'd guess that the glass pebbles are on some kind of flat surface. I don't really know what the illusion is, but it looks weird and I like it, so I'm giving it a 7 anyway. I think that this image may have benefited from a wider angle lens, to get more perspective on the stones (front larger, back smaller), which would make the appearance of motion stronger. |

Nothing but fun...by hvellurComment: impressive panning work! especially at 1/40, the crispness of the car is amazing, as mr. monty said. |

A Natural Illusionby Fibre OptixComment: what a great eye! and truly this is one of the most common natural illusions around. come to think of it, after seeing this I'm surprised that it's the only mirage entry in the challenge. tis a credit to your creative thinking. good work- I expect this one will place highly. |

Box of Toothpicksby severinComment: nice job creating a 2d model of a 3d figure with a three-dimensional medium :) this would have gotten an extra point or two from me if the background were cleaner. some levels adjustments, spot editing, and neatimage would have helped here. |

The Illusion od a Summer showerby PixelstateComment: first: check your spelling before you submit!!
now that we have that out of the way... at first I didn't like this picture because of the unusual framing, but after a minute I realized that the picture wouldn't work any other way, and started to develop appreciation for its cleverness. it's well pulled off, and I like the fact that it stretches the boundaries of acceptable editing. nice work. |

Watercolorby OlyuziComment: a different take on the theme, and pulled off well. I like the out-of-the-box-ness of this one. |

the magic carpetby U622Comment: this is definitely one of the more effective illusions. the model looks just the part, and the outfit is great! I like the exposure, too - good lighting and detail on the subject with a darker but still visually interesting background. this one's in my top 5. |

Red rosesby nico_blueComment: I like the bold color palette in this one- deep, rich and strong colors. Did you try a version with the upper right corner of the fabric burnt in a bit? The lighting on the roses forms a graceful ellipse in the fabric, except for that corner. Wondering if the symmetry would help, since it's already a centered composition. |
