Fujisanby RikkiComment: wow, what a mountain. aren't window seats great for us photogs? :)
this image has a softness to it that I recognize may be intentional - but only because I'd do it differently I say this: did you try running a large-radius USM on this to combat the tone-flattening effect of the window pane? I tried a 20%, 50px, 0 threshold USM and thought that (from one perspective) it might be an improvement.
Do you know what that squiggly deal on the left of the mountain is? Is that a road, or what? couldn't be a river... but why would anyone build a huge road up that mountain? very mysterious... |

What? ... is name of third crater from leftby KiwiShotzComment: you're right, the detail retention is impressive-
check this out-
2560x1920 = 4915200 pixels
711x502 = 356922 pixels
356922/4915200 = 7.26%
Rather than 26% of the image area, your crop was actually only 7.26% - and the detail is still that good. WOW! |

Schoolboy's Dreamby davequickComment: Nice.
great juxtaposition and color treatment.
based on the angle of view, it looks like you were in the passenger's seat - I hope I'm right :) |

Shack in Wyomingby SCI 009Comment: My initial reaction to this image was that I was impressed by the near perfect perspective and clean lines of this photograph. Then I noticed the area to the left of the shack... which struck me as weird, because it's unnaturally flat and lower than the rest of the horizon. Did you clone something out there? It really looks weird. |

Majestic!by doctornickComment: You have captured this truly majestic animal at a wonderfully active moment. The levels are off in this picture... even an Auto Levels in photoshop would have helped quite a bit. It is a shame that this technical detail was not paid adequate attention. |
