Floating in colorsby TUBORGComment: the colors are great! I love the flowing color fields. the use of image area seems a bit awkward to me, though. for my eye, there is too much space below the kiwi and not enough at the top. the result is an appearance of over-verticality, almost like it's been stretched. the control of focus and exposure are strong. |

Condiment Chaosby taterbugComment: The idea is solid. If you could have controlled the lighting more - to isolate the highlights, or make some sort of shape out of them, or perhaps use a more diffuse light to soften the contrasts - I think this would be a lot stronger. |

Pineappleby NstiG8trComment: the area of sharpest focus is near the top left of the image, which leads the eye out of the main area of the picture. try to keep your focus closer to the center of the image unless you have a specific reason to call attention to the edge. |

Looking Forby Dax-Comment: there is such a delicate balance in this image between the large dark subject and the smaller white petals of the background. it echoes the nimbleness of the beetle itself. very elegant. |
