One to Hide Behindby wejnaComment: Can't explain why, but I'm transfixed by the rhythm of the tree rings. Just another way trees charm us. I like the way the cow(?) seems to slip between two of them. |

sun falling throughby posthumousComment: It looks like the birds on the right are breaking for recess. This doesn't subtract from, but adds to, the silhouetted trees. The upper branches nicely frame the sun. |

The answer my friend....by NatashaComment: At first this image appeared to be a fanciful abstract. Then it resolved into a well-titled photograph of pine(?) limbs with snow or some other treatment. Clever and satisfying. |

the fear goes awayby bspurgeonComment: I really like this spooky, to me, image. Despite the partial sun-drenching, what's ambiguous and indistinct still inspires fear. It took awhile to discern that the object in an aura to the right of the tree is a person (if it in fact is). The tonal gradations and atmosphere are masterfully conveyed. |
