Didn't have time to comment on this earlier. There's a grand, gloomy beauty to this image, a tenderness for the overlooked. Sparkle is way overrated. I can't believe that this contemplative gem hasn't garnered more appreciation.

Didn't have time to comment on this earlier. Wonderful lighting, both in the fiery foreground and the hazy middle- and background. The background mountains are deliciously mysterious. The fade to pastel and the star-like sun further contribute to this triumphant image.

Didn't have time to comment on this earlier. Sensitive, idiosyncratic portrait of the man in the foreground. His brother in the background, blurred fore and aft, moves this image even more out of the ordinary. This latter person suggests a doppelganger of the man in the foreground.
