A magical tour de force of bubble wrap (or some such) fronting a lit-up scene. Both halves of the title are perfectly descriptive -- might be suitable to offer just one. I'm really taken by this imaginative pattern.

Beautifully handled composition of classic receding pattern. The detail and color are perfect. This is sure to garner a very high rating, and deservedly so. I love the splash of red on the mechanism on the pipe. A dizzying confection.

Absolutely spot on depth of field, highlighting the protagonist on his/her web. The magical point is how the slice of the web implies the entirety of the pattern splayed out within the bokeh. Admirably fashioned.

It may be a gallery, but you've caught and highlighted the mesmerizing, transitory pattern of those blinds thrown across the wall and ceiling. It brings the outside in, a wandering cloud of sun and shadow. The composition is excellent. The heavy grain works very well.

A bouquet of patterns, fun and exciting. Fine composition and perfect in black and white, reflecting the nostalgic feel of the wooden roller coaster. This image would make a terrific poster.

Okay, the title says "Silver shade," and I'll take it at its word, but I see ranks of people bearing metallic banners on parade. It's a wonderfully suggestive pattern, bright and joyful. I like the range of color tones.

This strange pattern in amber is a revelation of kiwi-ness, a much-appeciated reminder of the infinite bounty awaiting discovery by the curious artistic sensibility. Bravo to the photographer. It offers a platform from which the imagination can wander.

Beautiful hi-tech playground. The buildings, though basically graph-like in facade, handsomely reflect the lowering sun to provide a stunning backdrop to the ferris wheel. The lovely coup de grace is the sunset's capture by the four ferris wheel compartments, like a procession of snow globes or Christmas ornaments. There's pattern galore here, but it doesn't feel in your face to me.
Purely subjective notion: maybe crop it on the right from the two vertical columns outward.

A perfect example of elevating a merely interesting sun-flung pattern into something artful and compelling. Admirable and fun. What a lovely palette of golden browns! I like the placement of the model and her pose. My second favorite in the challenger.

A seemingly effortless pattern of varied post stumps, rising above a dreamy background of underwater rocks, it is marvelously captivating and restful. Deceptively humble. The colors are modest and harmonious. I especially like how the partially wet and partially dry posts hint at ebb and flow. My favorite in the challenge. The numerous sensor spots (if that's what they are) are an unfortunate distraction.
