6 The components of the image are all beautifully presented. My quibble, what depresses my score, is that the cat's pose doesn't move me. It could almost be a seal lying on the beach. The direct gaze, however, is strong.

7.4 I like this seemingly simple but dynamic image of elemental forces of nature. The foreground mountain, in its furry clarity, provides a compositional anchor. The background mountain on the left, cloaked in snow and cloud, is utterly beautiful. The clouds on the upper right are prettily modulated in tone. So the composition is actually tripartite. Rewarding.

5 As airplane shots go, this is not interesting except for the transition from snow cover to cloud cover. If the land portion were more fluidly or graphically appealing, then this type of image would, in my opinion, work better.

5.6844 On the one hand I feel that the composition lacks balance and the climber is visually indistinct. On the other hand the perspective is quite forceful and pleasantly dizzying. Also, the rock formation on the left is very interesting, almost sphinx-like.
