Beautiful variety of oranges, gold through red, warm and cozy despite their setting. And something magical happens.... their wigs of snow endow them with personalities and they become a huddled crowd, perhaps watching the passersby. Personal favorite in this challenge.

After considerable thought I believe my comment was unfair and apologize. Although violence (and sex, etc.) is often used in a meretricious fashion to grab attention in otherwise vapid contexts , it's also a legitimate field of artistic and documentary inquiry. This image is clearly of the latter order. You can put down my reaction to knee-jerk antipathy, or being a jerk or, pardon me, jumping the gun.
