Wonderful dream-like image. Mesmerizing, fluid movement, of dancers, locale and light. Interesting effect - pardon my naivete, is it the processing? In total, powerful and enchanting.

Overwhelmingly dear, this butterfly child. The curved and straight lines balance well in an elegant composition. Just beautiful. It makes me happy to look at her. One of two personal favorites in the challenge.

First, wondrous light slanting down across the receding uplands and down into the gorge. Second, stunning foreground, finely textured and aglow. Third, nice palette of grays. And four, good choice of narrow band of sky. I love that almost imperceptible bit of terrain right and above the foreground cliff face. How fortunate you were to be here. One of my two favorites in the challenge.

Voted but left no comments. My two highest marks were for your lovely image and the eventual blue ribbon winner (I'm the 8; sorry I didn't give it a 10). How mystifying that this fine picture did not garner the appreciation, nay, admiration that I feel it deserves. It's a casual moment of night aglow with life, yet inky and unfathomable. The young men and the fruit, but for the tilting pineapples, are perfectly random, yet pleasingly composed. The surrounding frame is both muted and flashy in color and mood, minor key triumphant. No other challenge entry so appealingly offers to the viewer the abundance of summer. The silhouetted figures in the background coffee shop suggest nighthawks (as in the Hopper painting). This is a joyous paean to a wondrous world.
