headed north, looking east, Sunday mornby instepsComment: This could be counted plain, but it's an understated marvel of everyday impressionism. The horizontal bands of color and texture are soothing and quietly joyful. I feel these bands to be welcoming arms. So lovely. |

Waiting to see you in Actionby pgirish007Comment: A glorious morning just inviting one to stride forth and embrace it. The wide curvature adds a sense of intimacy. The phantom halo at right center adds a touch of magic. Very uplifting. |

For cutoutby sfaliceComment: Lovely image of birds, plants, rock and their reflections. Beautiful colors so delicately shaded (the banding is not obtrusive, I find). Fine composition. Heartfelt. Very nice. |

You Are Not Alone by WarbyComment: Beautifully handled. There's a sense of personal commitment here both generous and sincere. The tan tones enhance the repetitive pattern (over-redundant?) and help launch the surprise of the upraised face. A graphic triumph. |

it's all water, my loveby tnunComment: Moody, evocative sea/landscape that's been beautifully twinned to partner with the charming title. Very moving. Powerful currents, dark abundance, blossoming skies. Confident and artistic. |

freshby glad2badadComment: Airy, delicate, sun-drenched. It's as if longing has pulled outdoors indoors. It's also as if a house abandoned has been reborn, re-imagined into an exaltation. Extravagantly fine. |

…"know the place for the first time '... by mariucaComment: Took a while to start to understand how this is put together, and find it all the more admirable now that I have. So very creative. Sweetly wondrous and hopeful. A real work of art. |

come onby mitalapoComment: Mysteriously fanciful, suggestive of re-emergence. Or a dream fading out of memory. Both work. Throw in a clock and you're golden. Superior work. |

Blot out my nightmaresby SistoComment: Fascinating, evocative, moving. With regard to the title, the image is ambiguous and multi-leveled, no pun intended. Fending off nightmares, but the hand is highly translucent. Is it not possible or must we look at them if they are to be resolved and transcended. The background shapes and textures handsomely set off the foreground image. |
