I very much like this inverted black and white, this elaborate silhouette. The sign which retains its color does not enhance the beauty of the image, in my opinion. On a nitpicking note, swans, not ducks.

As an exemplar of this type of seascape, this image ticks off all the boxes. Very nice. I especially like the tiny birds by surf's edge.

The fresh light of morning on this butterfly -- as I assume it is -- makes a marvelous highlight against tangled undergrowth. It's a beacon, an arrow, a Cheshire smile. Goes to show that there's no end of wonders to be seen. Glad you've shared this one.

Monday morning

Though I often find modernity in landscapes to be intrusive, here this collection gives solidity to the handsome background by establishing a sense of purpose, of people actually on the ground. This is awkwardly expressed, but there it is. Taking the image from well in back of the vehicles further allows a sense of gainful occupation. The oncoming light is rather beautiful.

So very peaceful, a perfect bucolic scene. The colors are lovely and the sun is modestly peeking from behind the tree to the side. Looks like all's right with the world.
