The swans are charming, but the water is sumptuous and mesmerizing. These beautiful colors work well with the white and gray birds. The star-like highlights move this image to an enchanting realm.

This could easily be a scene from the distant future, yet here we are today. Perplexing. Good move to go black and white, somehow it seems more real. The weather casts the entire mood. A lot of white outlines.

Fine title for this scene of ominous incoming weather, even as the background strip of mountains is raked by sunbeams. I love the immensity of this image. The colors form a tight palette used to encompass the entire world. The scene darkens to the right, as if the promise of the clouds is about to be made good. Strong.

There's so much to this almost-silhouette. First is the wonderful composition. The few graphic components are all superb. The man is deftly and intriguingly positioned. Is that green horizontal a treeline? Excellent. The shading of the lamp -- a vision in itself. The overall green-yellow tone works in such fine fashion that I can hardly imagine it being otherwise. Even the dark foreground is elegantly striped, however dimly. The title, too, is great. I'll stop here, having run out of superlatives.
I've already put forward a personal favorite, but now I'm saying there are a pair of co-favorites.

Wonderful other-worldly (figuratively speaking) image. By drone, I guess, and put to such artistic use rather than the more common birds-eye overview. Compelling story. All that lovely beige. Is that track to the left where your vehicle pulled off to be out of the shot? But where, then, are the incoming tracks? Great stuff.
Personal favorite of the challenge.

My comment didn't make it through, doubtless due to not hitting a key.
I don't know how Kodachrome this is, but it's very pretty and tranquil. The muted colors draw one in. Interesting how the reflected masts and rigging are more prominent than the actual objects. Just to view this image slows one's breathing.

Eyes closed, she seems to be sleepwalking through this somewhat raucous scene. I like the somewhat harsh processing and the entire cinematic feel. Fine image, moving.

Fine composition. Kodachrome sure shows off the beautiful colors of the flamingo. The bokeh is terrific.
