drierby NiallOTuamaComment: Is that a glass drying off? A quiet, ghostly mystery that I find satisfying. |

Coralburstby namComment: Very pretty spray of flowers and buds. Terrific depth of field. The composition is elegantly centered. I like this a lot (as does my wife). |

Baoby alfrescoComment: Her expression has a Mona Lisa ambiguity, fleeting amusement and patience under interruption. It's hard to resolve, and leaves me feeling unsettled. I'm guessing she has a complex inner life. Interesting. |

sliceby TiberiusComment: The overall busyness actually has a strong rectilinear structure. Amidst that structure and clutter calmly resides this gentleman looking at his phone, seemingly detached from the moment. The image has a an inner balance. |

the Lieutenant Colonel (retired)by MichaelCComment: Interesting gentleman in a polished pose. I like how he grips his lapels. An impressive run of medals. He fills the frame nicely, and his elbow is neatly clipped off (not a criticism). Reminds me of Gene Shalit. |

Aloneby jim29028Comment: Evocative image and well-composed. The colors are harmonious and light and shadow are pleasantly distributed. I'm a bit confused about the chair. Is it alone or does it symbolize an absent person's aloneness? Also, it seems to be rather conspicuously set there to achieve the effect. These niggling doubts temper my affection for an otherwise strong shot. |

Taste good Aby Pk395Comment: Fine moment of capture of this amazing creature doing it's thing. What must it feel like to be strolling along and then WHAP!, end of the line? The detail and colors are compelling, as is the actual denouement. |
