Fine hummingbird image, unusual in aspect, beautifully so, and actually more enchanting largely devoid of brilliance. The way the tips of the wings blur out is a marvel. The green and yellow background is terrific, contributing greatly to the overall effect.

Lovely, with such delicacy of departure and fervent action. It's as if she's churning honey with her wings. The purple flowers go nicely with the yellow, and the soft background is dreamy. Utterly pleasing.

Wonderful, beautiful image. Perfect perspective, moment of capture, focus, composition, black and white treatment, and so on. I love the variation of tones in the water, the boy's expression, the feeling of summer and joy.
If this doesn't take the Blue.... well, the stars will continue to shine but I'll be mumbling considerably.

Blue Wildebeest

I like your image so much, not least for waving a desaturated red flag before the non-believers. This wildebeest is officially blue, so it has the imprimatur of science as well as art. Kissed by the sun's glare, it's a transitory cameo of which I'm fortunate to have been offered a glimpse.
