You spin me round by tjbel05Comment: After some head swiveling it appears that this image would be cool in any orientation. Taut and exciting. All decked out in red and black, this is GQ material. |

Hoverby GolferDDSComment: Nice profile. Looks like you photographed her mid-hover, which is kind of a double stop action. The green background is also appealing. |

wings.IMG_9595by mariucaComment: Could be a Southeast Biloxi Babylonian Floor Plan Winged Murky Soup Fly. Or maybe some kind of mosquito. Doing the backstroke.
An exquisite evocation of the tiny and overlooked, of how deeply beauty resides. |

Mid-Danceby JakeKurdsjukComment: Fine hummingbird image, unusual in aspect, beautifully so, and actually more enchanting largely devoid of brilliance. The way the tips of the wings blur out is a marvel. The green and yellow background is terrific, contributing greatly to the overall effect. |

Take offby DistantColoursComment: Lovely, with such delicacy of departure and fervent action. It's as if she's churning honey with her wings. The purple flowers go nicely with the yellow, and the soft background is dreamy. Utterly pleasing. |

9.8 m/s2by tateComment: Wonderful, beautiful image. Perfect perspective, moment of capture, focus, composition, black and white treatment, and so on. I love the variation of tones in the water, the boy's expression, the feeling of summer and joy.
If this doesn't take the Blue.... well, the stars will continue to shine but I'll be mumbling considerably. |

Laurie by magenmarieComment:
Big congrats on the red! Lovely portrait, pretty, sweet and some other quality that's hard to pin down -- searching, seeking, je ne sais quoi.

Blue Wildebeestby take-twoComment: I like your image so much, not least for waving a desaturated red flag before the non-believers. This wildebeest is officially blue, so it has the imprimatur of science as well as art. Kissed by the sun's glare, it's a transitory cameo of which I'm fortunate to have been offered a glimpse. |

And still they keep coming!by JudiComment: Looking back, and I didn't comment in the challenge, I'm surprised there aren't more comments on, and rejoicing for, this glorious image. |
