fort funby jmritzComment: Amusing juxtaposition of bird, tree and hatted human. It's just this moment of juxtaposition of the three that is mid-action, as neither a few seconds before nor afterward would suffice. Such an interesting image. |

Yee Haw!by HarveyGComment: Very nice mid-action image. Great focus that reveals so much about this animal. |

hiiii yaah!by skewsmeComment: Mid-leap, great capture. This has a documentary feel, like a blurred photo of Bigfoot silhouetted at a distance, striding purposefully towards a nearby 7-Eleven. An unusual moment that only the patient and dedicated nature-lover is likely to see. And now us... thanks. |

uncle dutiesby TiberiusComment: Now that's an uncle to brag about! I love her expression and effort. Many entries are not "mid-something," but rather capturing a moment within continuous action. Your photo hews so much more closely to the requested raison d'etre of the challenge, and I appreciate that. |

Air Show by scalvertComment: Pretty hummer, always amazing. Looking for something different, the trace of the left wingtip is dreamily rewarding. Nice background. |

Liquid embraceby sarampoComment: The mixing at the top, or embrace, if you will, suggests that this isn't the first go. Skipping the racy part, I like the rakish tilt of the blue glass and the perspiration on the outside of them both, which adds interest to the liquids. |

At the Falconryby DCrest01Comment: That's just so startling! The focus amidst the action makes this capture special. Imagine how the mouse feels. |

The Fly Byby vawendyComment: Not only are the butterflies beautifully photographed, the story, not being conversant in butterfly etiquette, is also intriguing. The come on or the brush off? Don't know, don't have any idea. Love those curled up tongues. |
