Under the Jellyfish Treeby jomariComment: Delicately surreal and moving. In a personal, subjective vein, I would crop out the structure on the left, and maybe the last "jellyfish" on the right -- but that's merely my take. |

Production Lineby Les_FeckComment: So busy, but all of a piece in colors and forms, so this is surprisingly tidy. Like a "where's the zebra?" puzzle. I like how when you advance past the foreground into the middle- and background the bits and pieces meld into a sort of mosaic. A production line fueled by eternity. |

Tap Waterby MeMex2Comment: A fun portrait that made me smile. Fills the frame with a sense of "oh, yeah...I dare you..." I enjoy how natural and unpretentious this is. |

Fjords of Silenceby orvaratliComment: Gorgeous. The bright greens are amazing. The pinprick stars are a delicate garnish. I see a woman with her arms upraised. My personal predilection is for the boat not to be there, but that's neither here nor there. |

The Dispute by namComment: Exemplary study of this "dispute" of hummingbirds. I appreciate the effort and artistry it takes to achieve a striking result such as this. |

Emergenceby vawendyComment: Beautiful image, the jewel-like translucent chrysalis and the sumptuously colored monarch. I can't imagine how this could be any better. |

The Crowby Bear_MusicComment: Wonderful mood. An ordinary, overcast day, blossoming with symbolism. I could give an interpretation a go, but prefer to leave it free floating, no pun intended. The crow's silhouette is absolutely perfect, as is the moment of capture. The deep foreground is pleasingly sharp. Can't help feeling that the puddle before the bridge is like a tear. Very nice. |

out of the blueby AbraComment: One of the better and more interesting airplane shots I've seen. The composition is quirky and successful, the sun's rays are just right and the blues are gorgeous. Sweet. |

Iby mitalapoComment: I like this picture -- the depth, the colors, the lines and shadows. But mostly I like the central vertical dividing post. Of course it draws attention by being annoying and breaking conventional dicta, but it shoves life in your face. Why do our photos usually go to such pains to tidy up? I know that's usually my approach, too. But a central seeming obstruction claps you hard on the back and declares, "What do you expect, an endless continuum of peaches and cream, check the box harmony broken only by honeyed naps?" I'll give it a 9. |

Into the darkness.by RKTComment: Such an interesting, even mesmerizing, image. Into the darkness, yes, but the upper 60% of the photo is quite bright and sunny in contrast to the deepening murkiness otherwise closing in. Like a benediction of what's to follow. Usually one might look for a good spread in a group of subjects, but here the cars are all gathering in a clump. Again, it works well and even seems a comfort as evening falls. I like the nice bright lines on the road, the gleaming tar patches and the assertive, tiny traffic lights. There's a touch of uneasiness here, which adds emotion to this seemingly straightforward scene.
