EPENT NOW!by Art RoflmaoComment: This is great, both as a photograph and a find. The truck is well-placed and beautifully blends into the background, the wood grain and flaking paint. I figure it's not, but it does look like a facade, a two-dimensional front to a vast background. I like the shapes, textures and colors. Cinematically, this appears to be about 45 seconds into the movie, the truck first a speck in the distance, now upon us as the story unfolds. |

Palms Upby Art RoflmaoComment: This convocation of arboreal giraffes, especially with this perspective, works well in the square format. It's clean and not quite simple. To wander farther afield, it reminds me of wise men and the star of Bethlehem, to channel the spirit of the season. That contrail is like an accent. ¡Olé! |

Zerodayby NikonJebComment: Here's how to play within the square, like one of those little plastic puzzles where you move around different shapes. The variety of rectangles establishes a dynamic feel. The lighting and shadows add an undertone of asymmetry that's a bonus. I also like the bold color contrast, the way yellow shades to green on the left. |

Still Life with Hatsby GermaineComment: Two windows in a day! I'm sure a third would throw itself open to reveal deepest secrets of the cosmos. This image is more sprightly than the previous one. That painting of a woman on the lower left coyly looks back at us, sharing the moment. The main aspect of the window is a silvery overspreading of hoarfrost, blocking our view within. It's still a feast for the eyes. |

stillby RKTComment: Your title perfectly describes the feeling one gets from this parrot, who looks more prayerful than most humans so engaged. Beautiful depth of field and detail around the head, masterful tonal control throughout, serenity, nobility and benevolence. I'm quite willing to ascribe such character to her or him. I'd like to understand this powerful and subtle lesson. |

devil catby Ecce_SignumComment: Yes, definitely possessed. You've worked a wild transformation, creating a genre beyond portraiture into, tongue in cheek, the occult. Engaging and spooky. |

What's Inside Mattersby jomariComment: A charming moment of his day, his life, and I feel privileged to share it. I like how unpretentious and affectionate this is. A foreshadowing of Christmas? |
