Below Shuri Stationby instepsComment: After a few moments to get oriented, I really like this. The composition is marvelous, though I do find it beyond analysis, which is good. The lines work very well. The road divider and the ramp both snake into the center, the divider leaving at the bottom. It's like a stage set, the scene opening with the gentleman striding through, holding an umbrella in what appears to be a rainless day. The discrete daubs of color punctuate the image with sturdy emphasis. Both exciting and understated. |

Follow the Leaderby digifotojoComment: My favorite of the three. The ducks impart movement to this meditative image. Nicely composed. The fog is like quiet opening notes . |

Frankie 2by GinaRothfelsComment: I was flummoxed here by a repeat of your earlier post. And I earlier had chosen the third image, so the valuable lesson is: take your own (i.e., mine) appraisals with a bunch of grains of salt. And wipe the egg off your (my) face... |

Frankie 2by GinaRothfelsComment: As far as lighting goes I prefer this one to the other two. It's less harsh and the most sympathetic portrayal. |

Figueroa Mountain Roadby GermaineComment: Enchanting view and processing, a light touch and mood. I think the green foreground and the truly lovely sky in the background dominate the mountains in the middleground. But when I look at these mountains more closely they seem to be comprised of Cezanne-like planes, which is fascinating. Enjoyable image. |

Tiny Lightby digifotojoComment: Nice find, tricked out in muted, harmonious colors. As one moves from top to bottom a story is being told, which says to me, "I'm hiding within, I have my reasons, don't even bother." And yet there's that tiny electric candle and that flamboyant, in contrast to the whole, red leaf on the sill, so maybe the person in this home still has some shy hopes. I hope they blossom. |

Mold Bottlesby rodfulkComment: This is my favorite of the four. It seems comically futuristic and peculiarly human with gawky arms and startled faces in frantic activity. I also like the red and orange background. Somehow the right hand 30% or so seems extraneous to the fine, busy, self-contained composition on the left. |

FL-4by ozeradComment: This is, I believe, a much stronger image than the other. The color and detail of the petals embrace the central stamens and pistil. Enchanting. I don't understand the pixelation on the right. Is it the edge of a petal? |

NEW REDby ozeradComment: I agree with you on the red background. The stamens are again beautifully picked out, but I'm finding the left edge a bit murky. |
