Above the surface - outtakeby JanjaComment: I preferred your entry, as it gave us the entire new world alone. The reflection part, however, enchants me as much as your entry does. |

Streetpigeon - outtake 1by GinaRothfelsComment: If at first this image seems top-heavy, the arc of barbed wire lifts the wood to make it seem like a fanciful dirigible. Helium, please. |

Street Pigeons by MargaretNetComment: Congratulations on winning the blue. This is too appealing not to. By the way, this is one of the images I wish I was capable of taking. |

Two worlds side by sideby primabarbaraComment: Glorious. That could be the end of it because I just want to see and see it. But I'll go on. The five colored patches hang together with the satisfying precision of a jigsaw puzzle, and afford a happy sense of completion. So the composition is unusual, a lesson in endless possibilities. A motif throughout is the leaves, etc., floating on the water's surface, implying star-filled heavens. And the fish, denizens of a universe continually unfolding. The central fish in the blue is a whisper heard on the edge of consciousness. It brings the image to the pitch of waking dreams, revelatory dreams upon which a life can be built. This photograph is wonderful. I admire and appreciate it tremendously. Nice title.

There are things known and there are things unknownby ThingFishComment: On the get-go, this incredible blue is peacock intense, from hereon in my standrd for paradise. Inwardly I'm vibrating, outwardly sweating cannonballs. To reluctantly go on, the entire construction puts palaces to shame. Oh the rust, shedding blue for a brown whose shade I can't determine, perhaps "life-giving," sumptuous and deep as it is. Earth and sky. Is the white an undercoat or moonlight? Is it superficial to luxuriate and steep in such color? Maybe, but it certainly thrills and uplifts me, invites simple exultation. Handsomely framed on three sides by greenery. Hang out here and forget your cares, dream anew. Nice title.
Thank you. |
