This is not a bad shot at all straight from the camera. Really the only thing I can comment on is your exposure and your composition. Exposure looks to be fine…looks to be a fair amount difference in your darks and lights…obviously you would tweak these in PS and make them have more contrast. And the composition I like also…I like the branch…if you could have gotten a bit closer and a larger shot of the bird that would be better…but if this was the closest you could get then that’s all you got. Over all I think this is the best you could do for this shot for straight out of the camera…good job.

First off this is a pretty shot of flowers and the color is very nice. The thing I think hurt this shot is it is a very average point and click shot of flowers. Try to go for a bit of a different angle next time…just experiment. Don’t want to tell you that it would look better up-close or down low…just find something that looks good to you and that makes an ordinary flower shot stand out a bit more than others. Also…not sure…but you might want to watch your highlights…looks as if they might barely be going and leaving with the texture that use to be there. See it on the whitest parts of the flowers. Like I said…your shot is not a bad one…but the score you got fit your image for this challenge….it is pretty but so were almost all the other flowers…have to find that little something that makes people stop that extra second or two on yours and gives a point or so higher.

Little bit dark around the eye...maybe if you did a flash it would help...but if you were using a telephoto it might not help out that much and also might cause the guy to stampede.

This photo looks a tad soft...like the focus is a bit off...or maybe you went for that effect with neat image or something...also would make the shot a bit better if the light on both...actresses...was the same...looks like one is in a shadow. Nice shot for what you were going for.
