This is not a bad shot at all straight from the camera. Really the only thing I can comment on is your exposure and your composition. Exposure looks to be fineâ€Â¦looks to be a fair amount difference in your darks and lightsâ€Â¦obviously you would tweak these in PS and make them have more contrast. And the composition I like alsoâ€Â¦I like the branchâ€Â¦if you could have gotten a bit closer and a larger shot of the bird that would be betterâ€Â¦but if this was the closest you could get then that’s all you got. Over all I think this is the best you could do for this shot for straight out of the cameraâ€Â¦good job.

First off this is a pretty shot of flowers and the color is very nice. The thing I think hurt this shot is it is a very average point and click shot of flowers. Try to go for a bit of a different angle next timeâ€Â¦just experiment. Don’t want to tell you that it would look better up-close or down lowâ€Â¦just find something that looks good to you and that makes an ordinary flower shot stand out a bit more than others. Alsoâ€Â¦not sureâ€Â¦but you might want to watch your highlightsâ€Â¦looks as if they might barely be going and leaving with the texture that use to be there. See it on the whitest parts of the flowers. Like I saidâ€Â¦your shot is not a bad oneâ€Â¦but the score you got fit your image for this challengeâ€Â¦.it is pretty but so were almost all the other flowersâ€Â¦have to find that little something that makes people stop that extra second or two on yours and gives a point or so higher.

Little bit dark around the eye...maybe if you did a flash it would help...but if you were using a telephoto it might not help out that much and also might cause the guy to stampede.

This photo looks a tad soft...like the focus is a bit off...or maybe you went for that effect with neat image or something...also would make the shot a bit better if the light on both...actresses...was the same...looks like one is in a shadow. Nice shot for what you were going for.
