Hidden Graceby riversongComment: :: Critique Club ::
I like the B&W and those little hands hiding her face. I think a few things that might have hurt just a bit are that the crop is a bit tightâ€Â¦a little bit wider would have added more mood to see her whole head and her arms coming upâ€Â¦also the highlights seem a tiny bit blown. If the flash was more soft then it would look that more pleasant. It’s not bad just turning the wrong way to being too harsh. Think you did well and placed good for thisâ€Â¦I wonder if she did that on her own? |

Great job keeping your eyes open for this one. I assume that is a real tattoo and not a stick on. Did he know you were taking thisâ€Â¦if so I would have asked him to turn somewhere with a better background. This photo has big potential pretty much as is if the background were more appealing. There is a slight glare on his headâ€Â¦but you might not have had the time nor his patience to ask him to do anything else for this photoâ€Â¦and that’s if he even knows your shooting him. As I can see there is nothing to technical about thisâ€Â¦sure you just snapped it off. The cool thing is the subject and that is well done by you for spotting it. I think you scored fairly well on itâ€Â¦man if that bike were totally in the frame you might have broke 6...in my book. |
