Empty shell of former selfby lytaComment: ::Critique Club::
This is a very strange picture. I like it. Maybe tilting the camera to get less of the tree that just looks black in the bottom left would have been better. The lighting looks a tad dark on his bottom half but I think you did a good job keeping your subject and the background together. Nice job finding this. |

We Should've Been Born With Wingsby ElemmennopeComment: ::Critique Club::
You did find some bizarre produce. I'm split on the shadows. In one hand they are a bit distracting, but when you look closer you can actually see the bird better in the shadow, especially on the "penguin". Love the colors. I think you should have used a higher aperture to make them a little more crisp. Other than that great find and pic. |

Canada Goose - Mates for LIFEby jessieComment: ::Critique Club::
This is a well done photo, detail on the geese is good. The stick in the background is a bit distracting. As for bizarre I think it suffered there too. Some people probably didn't take the time to understand two animals being together for life is a bit bizarre. Nice try on the challenge and good picture.

Cloud's?by kirtiebuComment: ::Critique Club::
Pretty picture. Might could have used a bit more aperture to make it more crisp, or maybe when you sized it for DPC you should have sharpened it a bit. Another thing that probably hurt you was that there is not much about the pic that makes it bizarre, even though it looks to be a very pretty place. Message edited by author 2004-11-16 14:40:47. |

Yellow Moonby famish99Comment: ::Critique Club::
It's hard to take a photo of the moon unless you have the right equipment. Looks like you did a pretty good job, it's just there aren't that many ways the moon can be shot and if the photo isn't absolutely sharp it will be hard to stand out. I commend you on the attempt. Big Brother Is Watchingby LilawibryComment: ::Critique Club::
Like Riggs said you have a good eye to see this as you were walking along. The photo looks great. Wonder what it looks like with a verticle shot. Keep it up. Message edited by author 2004-11-16 14:39:34. |

Uncanny Perseveranceby nikon_girlComment: ::Critique Club::
Others have already pointed out that you could have used more Depth of field. This might have been hard due to light, might not have had a tripod with you, and even if you did the bug would move and would be blurry. Try shooting at least with a 1/125 shutter, see if that gives you alittle more aperature to work with. You can also bump your ISO up to get more, but that will make it that much more grainy. You have to give and take. Personaly I would have liked to see his face. Other than that good attempt. Message edited by author 2004-11-16 14:39:01. |
