Like I said...good action shot. The colors are vibrant and the DoF is great. For what it is, it is perfect. As far as a good choice for this challenge I would have to say it is more than just a bit of a stretch. This is one of those shots that was taken very well and by itself is a wonderful photo but doesn't fit in this challenge without forcing a title to fit it...and this is not the only image that did so during the challenge. So my only critique is not really about the image or the technical aspect of it, for I know you know how to do it...it is that if you want to score higher that you think about the challenge, get creative and shoot for the challenge...not make a photo you happened to take during the week fit the challenge. (And if you look back at some of my past entries I am guilty of the very same thing sometimes...and have suffered from it also.)

Like I said before...very strange shot. Personally I don't like those kinds of dolls...give me the creeps. But I wouldn't vote an image down because of that. The lighting is a bit odd...don't know if that thing that thing covering the right side is a lamp or not. The light on the green one isn't really that bad...but as it goes over it looses contrast and turns more blue. I like how you tried to be different with these odd fellows and the lighting...but a bit more light and contrast would definitely improve the shot.

Well I loved it during the challenge and am feeling the same way if not more now. Incredibly clever to use a book's photo as your background...wonderfully done. You did a great job for using that filter for the first time. The eyes nail it in though...captivating. Great work...great image.

Like the shot. One thing I think it could be helped by is a bit more contrast, make the colors more rich and stand out that much more. I like the squear cropâ€Â¦good choice.
