Backlighted umbrellaby jimsappComment: I presume this is going to become a print? excellent shot and am trying to work out what the model is thinking. My only thought would to have been to choose a better title, they don't really bother me (and don't sway my vote) but hey, if you can come up with pics like this you can do better with titles ;) |

Studioby maicolComment: I'm a dark monitor sufferer but here goes. As displayed on my (dark) monitor) I love this picture, you should see it ;) I downloaded it a lightened it somewhat and still thought it was great but prefered 'my version'. If I'm picky I'd say it was more side lighting but (as with most submissions) this has not really swayed my vote. I love the dark space and positioning of the model, my only critism would be, well I can't really think of one and feel this wpuold be great as a print on anybody's wall. |

The Wizardby GatorguyComment: Great shot, its all happening here and the Wizards expression is top notch. You did a good job with the smoke but think you may have rated higher with some more and cropping out the fence? [7] |

Wood Elf by kosmikkreeperComment: Overt softened maybe but guess it adds to the fairy tale experience. Ther colours are excellent and the pic definately meets the challenge. I think i'd have liked to see some space between the models head and the dark background. I'm thinking this would be even better as an aged/sepia shot [7] |

Welcome to the third world.by asijComment: Excellent exposure on the sword, I've looked at this shot for about 3 minutes (rare for me) and whilst the green is ok I think it lacks something? I think a crop of this with just the sword and the rock on the right would be more dramatic. [currentl 7] |

Snow Whiteby birgirComment: At first glance I'm torn on this shot. Yes its depicts a fairytale (Snow White) but something bothers me. I can't quite put my finger on it other than to say I'm in 'fairy mode' at the moment. Excellent image and I'll come back to it later. (currently 7) |

Lioness Rampantby AnastasiaComment: I'm not 100% convinced 'Lioness Rampant' was in a fairytale? However this is probably the best photograph I've seen in this challenge, the lighting is perfect and its definetely a medieval theme and with an adult twist? [8] I think I have my 3 ribbon winners now. |

My Fairy Tale Husbandby debitiptonComment: Love it love it love it. Bringing you back down to earth this is a fairy tale challenge not a fantasy one lol. I would have liked to see a bit more detail in the wing and (expense warning) would have been better if you could have cut off the iron cord. Nice desat [7] |

Merlin Livesby duncesComment: Love the mood and atmosphere in this shot though Merlin looks a little like Darth Vader. The lighting is excellent as are the colours. Top vote so far is 8 but this may get bumbed up. |
