Great scene (reminds me of playing in the woods as a lad) lovely colours, the only thing that confuses me slightly is the angel of the shack.; I know its ramshackled but being so close the edge of the shot I'd have prefered it more vertical.

I agree with Aznym, the colours are excellent. As for the leaves, rather than crop them I'd like to see more and make the background 1/3rd leaves, 1/3 trailer then the wheels. The mood of this picture seems to be screaming black and white to me but it would be a shame to lose the rich colours. The little bit of sky is slightly distracting but not overly.

imho its a good shot but think a tighter crop to remove the post and slightly sharper would make this an excellent shot. Did you try a b&w version?

ok so the bench is centred but it is well framed by the flowers - great shot, the texture of the wood sets this shot off well :)

The Ride is Everything

Very nice Kylie, you need to go buy this car so you can choose your background :) definately a big boys toy (I'm of the school that the older cars give the best ride and look better with age)

Smoke

Nice idea, but fror me would have preferred the smoke to be sharper, with more definition and the lighting on the hand makes it look strange (possibly your intention?) Good framing of the scene withing the image.

The Belly of the Beast

I would personally have preferred the main focus to have been on the grid, I keep getting drawn to the passing vehicle and maybe a faster shutter would have shown more detail in the smoke/steam and the background seems a little busy for me (considering the challenge)
