I gave you a 5.
I played around with in camera effects in the past and believe me, they are far from perfect.
When viewing this image on a 27inch monitor at home it just looks awful. On a smaller screen it doesn't look that bad. The contrast of deep red and black doesn't seem to fit in this picture.
I think that low to mid 4 is the right score.

Deze foto is prachtig, De tonaliteit geeft het geheel een gevoel van kalmte die present is bij het lezen van boeken. Heel goede keuze om niet echt de focus op de boeken te leggen maar op de hele scene. Een 7 is mijn stem.

I am not a fan of flower shots, and was afraid to see a whole bunch of them in this challenge. This one however kept my attention. Why? Those petals looks so small compared to the peduncle, and the little yellow stamen standing in the middle. The overall tones are just a little dark. I don't know the ISO used, (looks quite high) but there seem to be a grain not suitable in this type of picture. A6 from me.
