This may be the nicest photo of the Statue of Liberty that I've ever seen. Bravo!

This is a beautiful shot! The detail and colors are wonderful.

I think jpeters is right; the horizon does look a tiny bit tilted. It also has a bit of curve, probably caused by barrel distortion. I use PTLens to fix that with most of the shots I take with my 17-40mm lens. I find that it's much more noticeable when shooting at 17mm.

I love how the cliffs on the left are shadowed. It really makes the falls and the sky stand out nicely. Well done!

BTW, I have the same body and lens, and I use a Cokin 'P' circular polarizer with a wide-angle holder. The results are very nice, and the filter and holder are very inexpensive.

PTLens does a pretty good job of fixing vignetting. It comes as a Photoshop plug-in or stand-alone version.

I love high-contrast editing like this. It gives images a nice graphic look that adds lots of interest. I've done a few paid portrait sessions and I usually edit one or two of the shots this way. The people always love the results too. You did a great job with this one.

This should have won a blue ribbon in the Bokeh challenge. :D

I can't think of anything more to say, so I'll just sit here and look at it for a while.
