I like the composition, focus, and colors. I think a more relaxed posture for the subject would have helped convey the message better. The body language looks a bit too tense to fit well with the concept of the photo.

Nice dappled light and the focus is good, but the subject and composition are a bit too static for my taste. I think the image needs a focal point.

I like the lighting and focus in this image. I think the composition could be a bit better though. A bit less empty space on the right and a tiny bit more on the left.

I'm an old surfer so this photo grabbed my eye right off. Unfortunately, there are too many technical issues for it to score highly with me.

The main issues are the tilt of the horizon and the too soft focus. The sun's reflection on the water is nice. It gives the image a very warm feeling.

It looks like someone was having fun though, and it does bring back nice memories, so I'll give it a 7.
