I really enjoy the old feeling of this image. Brings me back to the classic movies and serials. The dark starkness of the walls and cloths are balanced against the lightness of his face and smoke well along with the bright entrance sign really make this an interesting image.

even with the noise I find this to be one of the better portraits. The muted colours work extremely well and often times we have seen similar activity.

This image is nicely contrasted in my opinion. The candidity of this image also adds a nice simple element against the sharp lines of the buildings.

I have seen similar images, it has a nice perspective. Though the added drama in the sky allows for the viewer to be captured by the image moreso then otherwise.

What really catches me here is nearly everything. The colour of the churning water to the clarity of ice on the tower. Though for me personally I would liked to have seen the frame move to the viewer left a bit. The drop of interest on the catwalk distracts my eye. If the frame was moved it would add more interest with the rolling water also it would allow the tower to be moved into the 1/3 position.

One of the better portrait type images in the challenge. The dramatic feel of the bright purple/black the model is wearing along with the snowfall ad a nice element to the image. It also creates a nice contrast in front of the dull gray/muted tomb.

I enjoy this image. The center comp is a bit distracting but the artistic idea and creativity is well noted. With the yellow/green/orange of the tree against the colourless mist is nicely eyed.

This I feel is one of the better portraits in the challenge. The clarity of the model as well as the light balance is well done. However the dramatic addition of the coloured paint is a wonderful element which draws stronger interest.
