For you my ....by ipesonComment: nice image, good color, but fuzziness will not be tolerated! I swear if the worst subject on the planet was submitted if it was well exposed and in perfect focus it would do well. |

Wasting time silently in the libraryby MadMountieComment: I don't know if this shot really answers the challenge. I don't know if this is really in a place that is quiet. I do know that you chose a dynamic POV and got great colors. This is my favorite shot of the challenge. I don't know why. |

By the Light of the Moonby mariomelComment: A lot of ideas were repeated over and over in this challenge. I have been seeing a cabin in the woods, a cabin in the snow, a house in the night, ect. This however is well enough done that it becomes THE cabin in the woods. It sings a common song so well that it makes the song it's own. The use of red foreground light to balance out the blue of the night sky , and the blown out lamp repeated in the blown out moon, create a still balance that make this a special shot. |

Sweet Dreamsby jodiecostonComment: Im sure you will get the comment that you took away too much contract or blew out the details. They will be wrong. You caught the moment of waking up next to someone you love very very well. The lipstick smile ( a bit too perfect for mornig, but it looks good) and the ring balance nicely and high keying catches the mood of mornig wake up perfectly. Nice job |

zazenby bmatComment: I like the subject and the square crop does a nice job of renforcing the compactness of the sitter. The high lights off his head seem a bit blown out as if the backround with its varied and complex patterns and surfaces were your subject matter rather than the man. This peice almost work as a negative space study where what is in the center gives way to the surrounding area, but the balance between foreground and backround is too balanced, leaving my eye to run here and there rather than settling down to meditate on the form. |

Read in Peaceby mitsukaiComment: I like the subject , but the backround hurts the photo. The strong diagonal where the baseboard meets the floor seems to shoot out of her head and creates a dynamic that is at odds with the quiet composure of the reader. While I like the tight crop, and belive that I know she is happily reading, if you don't show the book some people will wonder what she is looking at. A polarizing filter would have taken care of the glare off the floor that almost brings the floor color to flesh tone and makes her profile hard to read. Never the less you caught a lovely picture of quiet contentment, one the model will want in future years. |

Bird-4by pantannaComment: Great action shot! Full of motion and vibrancy, the moterboat wake, the flashing feathers and the popcorn jumping out of your hand. I love the way the yellow of the popcorn sets off the blue. The only thing it's missing is.......a lack of implied noise |
