I thought you were going for the bottom score ( the famous brown ribbon) intenetionally given the heavy blur and out of bounds subject matter. Given the fact that I the composition and lighting are quite good I thought you were trying make a low scoring shot, but couldn't make a truly bad photograph because you have a good eye.
Now that I know you weren't shooting for the bottom I'm sorry I was so catty in my first comment. A few peices of advice for future submissions. Read the rules of the contest, and if you are unsure, post up a question to make sure you understand what is and isn't OK. Look at past challenge archives to see what does well here; a tack sharp photo with good lighting no matter how ugly the subject, will do better here than a beautifull picture that is too soft. Remeber no one remembers all the other contemporaries who were concidered better artists than Rembrant or VanGough, stick to what you like and keep doing it.

the desaturation really hurts this image. From the title I figured there would be a ring but finding it was a bit of where's waldo. yellow flame, copper (?) base, gold and blue diamond. Why not?

Good illusion, good garage art, but why show it in it's envorinment? the peices used to creat the work show it's place, not take it out of it. nice shot of the table saw, looks ilke it has seen some use.
