Great depth of field and a classic postcard image, and while postcards to tend toward the supersaturated, the blue of the sky here is a touch overdone, and more importantly it draws the eye away from the Smithsonian, monument and blossoms. Despite that, top ten.

What you have here is lovely, but I wish there was more for this challenge. The framing which cuts off the top of the bridge or viaduct keeps the focus on the water, but I wish I could resolve what the structure was. Also the name Healey Dell is fine as a photograph, but is not well enough known world-wide to stand alone. This is a lovely subtle image, but it whispers where postcards tend to shout.

Im not sure about the way the sky fades in and out here, the halo around the dome is distracting. Other than that, great choice of subject, beautifully framed, nice use of late afternoon light. top ten.

Its a lovely shot, very balanced and polished; but wouldn't a post card have "atonium" or some such descriptor on it, since this image is not the classical image of the city? I know its not a major point and more of a graphic design issue than a photographic one, but I think it will hurt your score.

Great find and framing, but the softness of focus will keep you out of ribbon land here. Almost, not quite.

I love the empty feeling here, nice POV, getting low and having the empty street back there makes this a strong shot. Not a happy shiny DPC classic but this is a well executed image, kudos.

the exposure is just right to show off the diamonds in the reflections, but since the ducks were supposed to be the focus of the image, your exposure hurts your score here. this may be one of those times when a nice image scores lower in a challenge than it might in a free study.

The blacks seem a bit blocked out here, otherwise a very appealing entry, nice colors and use of depth of feild

How long did it take before the bulb burst, with all the heat.

About 45 seconds of burn time

It's a lamp alright, but as far as I can see it's not your light source.

Not really clear what this means. Do you mean that the lamp ought to have been lit, and that the fire is a second element? or do you mean the highlights thrown by the secondary lamp used to bring out the treads? The blue flame is about 85% of the light in the image, so while there is a secondary source visible it isn't the main source, and I'm not willing to work with flame in the dark even for DPC.
