The Abandoned Roadby Alexis_13Comment: Although there is a street, there's nothing to put this in the context of street photography. It's a bit overexposed. The sky is blown out, it seems to be out of focus, and the lack of contrast doesn't provide much definition in tone, so it becomes a rather uninteresting photograph of a road. |

The Musicianby dmsmithComment: Cutting off his left hand and his feet are "rookie" mistakes. The blur on his right hand doesn't add context so it just becomes a distraction. I see a guy reaching for coffee, but other than the tiny bit of amp barely visible behind his arm, nothing says he's a musician. It just looks like a missed opportunity. |
