Abandonedby Dim7Comment: I just ran across this in the "Vintage" gallery. I love the saturation and the overall dim quality to this photo. The composition is very good and the natural vs. the man made is nicely juxtaposed. The sagging roof makes the shot. Great lighting. |

Inside - Outby debitiptonComment: I just ran across this in the "Vintage" gallery. I like the focus alot. The detail of the window and surround wood is nicely done. I love old buildings - they almost tell a story don't they? Great use of lighting and the angle including the other window is GREAT! Good one. |

My Girlby dartompkinsComment: This has great color and lighting. I just ran across this under the "Vintage" gallery. She has a natural expression and the overall composition is very good. My only crique might be to darken up that area in the back left that seems a bit bright. |

Convergenceby ldallekComment: I love the warm tones of the rusted red. The angle of the shot is interesting and the detail of the vehicle is well done. Old metal objects take on a wonderful weathered life of their own when left out, don't they? I enjoy this photo very much. |

Door to the Pastby stormyComment: This is really interesting. I love how old wood changes color over time. Is this a "wooden " out take?? I like the lighting almost appearing as a spotlight with the rounded area of dark to the left.
It might be cool to zoom in on part of it, catching one of the corners of one of the 4 panels. Just an idea. |

Don't Tread On Me!by SammieComment: I love reading the descriptions after a challenge. This is a great shot, and I find it even better, knowing the situation under which you took it. YOU GO GIRL!! Nice lighting and perspective. I'm intrigued by the fact that it's almost that yin and yang with shadow to the left and light to the right. Very cool. The overall composition is simple and uncluttered. Much like how a snake lives his life. (Oh wow, I'm getting way too deep here).
You've got more nerve than me. Reptiles??? NO thanks - give me something with fur any day. |

Early Retirementby ShutterPugComment: I didn't vote this high, but heh, it was extremely original and I give you kudos for that. People get so up in arms over the dumbest things. Nobody has your number memorized, so if they went to the trouble to look it up to find out who you are, then they are more of a sleuth than I.
Kee up the unique aspect to your work!!! |
