My Little Ponyby cowboyComment: I think I'd concentrate on one horse and zoom in or do a macro of his head. As it is, it seems a bit busy. With so much vivid blue, it casts a blue hue throughout the photo. Maybe bring up the red saturation a tad? I hope this is helpful. |

Made By Handby shabri9Comment: This might have a bit more pop if the instument were placed on a solid black background with some lighting coming from a single source to one side. I like the variations in the woodgrain and the different colors of the wood. As it is just in the center of the shot, it doesn't have an overall interesting quality. I hope this helps. |

Old Wagonby docurrieComment: This might have more visual appeal if not so tightly cropped and the wagon weren't dead center in the photograph. I like the angle of the shot and the sky color. |

Study in wood and leatherby bpickardComment: I like the composition of this. The varations of the warm tones in the stairs compliment the dark browns of the boots. The lighting is interesting. I wish it were a larger image so we could really hone in on the details and knotholes. |

Used woodby totiComment: Lots of varied wood applications and similar coloration makes for a nice monochromatic theme. I like the off placement of the chair. This might've been fun in black and white with lots of contrast - just a thought. I wish the image were larger so we could see the details of the planks better. |

"Blocks"by sfarrell23Comment: This is a fun colorful photograph. Shooting on white works here. I like the helter skelter arrangement of the blocks - it gives the eye lots of visual candy. Maybe not quite as close a crop for my taste. |

The wooden cross roadby VanGoghComment: With the cross cropped as it is, it looks almost like an X instead of a true cross. Maybe pan back just a tad. The similar colors of the portrait and the wood are complimentary and the lines of the document run parallel with the cross piece, creating an interesting parallel effect. |

Last postby stupotComment: I notice that you've placed the pole dead center in the photo. It might have been more interesting to either shoot a macro and concentrate on the texture of the bark, or perhaps shot it from an angle, taking advantage of negative space to make the overall picture more visually appealing. |

What some people do with driftwood!by p2jvrComment: Is it glued together?? Interesting.
I think I might have shot this from a different angle. Since it is natural materials it kind of gets lost amidst all the trees and the grasses. Maybe a sideways shot could have worked better. Maybe a tighter crop to concentrate on the horse and not the surroundings. |
