HEE HEE - I love the story behind the shot. This is a great capture, not to mention that it's candid. Her face tells alot and you captured it well. I love the "half face" with the shadowing. Great detailing.

As I said during the voting, I think this is just stunning. I gave it one of my few 9's. It offers so much visually and from an artistic standpoint, there isn't any critique I could give. The silhouette against the brooding sky evokes so many emotions. Congratulations on your high placement.

I commented on this during the challenge and I agree that it us truly wonderful. Bless her for standing for that, cold and wet. It combines the human element with the natural one and makes it one, which is as it should be anyway, in the scheme of things. Her faraway look just helped add to an otherwise glorious shot. I love the industrial feel, yet instead of using a black and white filter which would be expected you used the beautiful blues and gold tones of the evening. Awesome. I like this very much.
