I think what seperates this from the other studio type shots is the wheel in the background. The curve of the shoes mimic the curve of the tire - interesting and well done in that regard. The clarity is spot on. 8

With the varied colors and all that's going on this shot, it's a bit busy for me. I do like the angle and the focus. I think maybe if you put it in black and white, then the color would no longer distract and you could concentrate on all of the other interesting elements of this shot. I think I'd crop out the chrome upon which the shoe is resting. I don't think you need it to ground the foot. 7

Lord of Roaches

This is kind of gross, as we hate roaches, yet it is very interesting and the more I look at it, the more I like it. The slight desaturation of color works. The contrast of the stripes of the shoes is interesting along with the texture of the leather shoe and the ragged hem of the jeans. I'm upping my score upon 2nd review.

This has a whimsical sense to it which I like. The diagonal line is interesting to the eye. I even like the pink coloration. With the shoes being black against the negative space, they have great impace. This is definitely a fun shot!

I like the elements of this shot alot. The leaves of the plant have a metallic feel. The single shoe with the light bouncing off of it is well done. I have a sense that somebody just ran off, leaving one tap shoe behind. The laces tumbling over the step is a nice touch. Compositionally, this is done quite well. It makes you wonder what happened. I'm upping my score.

I like the sentiment of this alot. The pink on pink is nicely done, but I'm wondering if it could have been shot from a different angle if it would have been more interesting. Nothing beats baby's shoes. :~)

I love the bunny. The background color kind of leaves me a bit ho hum. I wonder if this might have had more impact in black and white, since the boot and the rabbit are the same color? Hmmmm - just my take on it.

I like the filtration on this with it's urban edge. I think I'd crop out some of the area on the right so that the legs isn't dead center. The coloration is rich and the warm of the brown tones against the stark white and black with the blue of the jeans is a nice melange!

This is very linear and has perfect symmetry, when done so obviously, works. This would make a great poster. I like the light and dark of it as well as the geometry of the straps. This is clever and after 2nd review, I'm upping my score. (:~p)
