I like the idea of this very much. I wish it were a tad better focused. The lighting is a touch harsh, but the linear quality of them is nice. It leads the eye around with the fluttering of the wings. Interesting and imaginative to say the least.

I'd love this if it were larger. The single red amidst the green and gray is a nice contrast, but being so small, it doesn't have the impact I think you were going for.

This would be great in black and white with high contrast. I like the idea of this alot. Nothing like a tree swing in summer. As it is, it all kind of blends together. Maybe play with curves to work on the colors a bit. Maybe up the brightness and contrast and see what you get. This is definitely a good idea and not the typical entry - good imaginative idea.

I like the title. For some reason it doesn't have a ton of impact for me. I love the bird and the single branch coming out. The silhouette is interesting. I think I'd like it better if the part in the lower left and upper right wasn't there. Just the spindly limb without the clump of leaves keeps the mood more lonely and solitary feeling.

This is a stunning example. The light and the delicate pods hanging from the single branch is wonderfully captured. The tonality of the fall colors of gold and deep brown with a hint of green are stand outs against the black. I like that it leads your eye up and back down. Best of the buch I've seen so far. 10

I like the perspective. That old dead tree looks like a sad skeleton against the sky. The single cloud helps with that lonesome sense. Nice.
