HareSM.jpgby RistyzComment: This is great. I have an affinity for rabbits, so maybe I like this shot because of that. I do appreciate his camouflage with all of the brown and beige tones. His one eye is spot on clear. Is he out in the wild??? If so, you're good - they can shoot off faster than a bullet! |

Grackle IIby bobdaveantComment: OOooh. I like this one even better. The DOF is good and he's tack sharp. I'm not a great ornithologist, or even much of an appreciator of birds, but this little guy really captures my eye. You caught his feather details wonderfully. In a perfect setting, he might have a solid background but in order to accomplish that, he'd be dead and stuffed, and we certainly don't want that. Good one!!!

Grackleby bobdaveantComment: I thought a grackle was just an ugy ol' black bird. This one is so pretty with his prismatic colors. WOW - what a close up. |

Expectedby Joey LawrenceComment: You're the master of post editing. I love what you did to create that grainy dirty effect. Glad to know Justin is ok now!! What fun to get to walk down the street like that - I guess he doesn't mind a few odd glances from passers by. |

ContessaSM.jpgby RistyzComment: This is great too. I like the dark area surrounding the horse. The gray tones of his coat are highlighted nicely with your use of directional light from the right. With his ears pricked up, it's like he's hearing or seeing something and we as the viewer wonder what it is. This is truly inspiring. I need to find some horses to photograph! |

BoomerSM.jpgby RistyzComment: Poetry in motion. The movement is wonderful, yet the horse is still clear. I like his main and tail up and to the right. Horses are so intriguing to me. I find them to be a natural marvel with the heavy body and thin muscular legs. He pops out against the dark background and the monochromatic beige and brown tones really make for an eye catching image. Nicely done. |

sands of time IIby SeanachaiComment: Oh this is terrific. Such an unusual combination. The title is great. I love the long shadow. Tack sharp focus on the mask too. EXCELLENT. |

red river marsh grass 01 2004 dawn.jpgby Bear_MusicComment: SO simple and nice - then I see it is again, one of yours. I really do like your work, bear. The minimalism is really striking. The vertical lines of the sea grass so so soothing to the eye with the warm tones againsat the sky. The leading line sense of it works so well too. |
