Sympathyby burtctComment: I love the simplicity of this shot. I think to truly be a sympathy card, I might not have the bright yellow band around it though. Just my personal taste. THe clarity is spot on and the black background is perfectly utilized. Good one. |

Get Well Soonby TransitComment: AWWW Love the dog and the bedpan and bandages. I'd remove the pillow with the pattern on it. Also, the orange and white quilt might be better if it were a solid color. Maybe if the whole thing were done in sepia and black and white. Nicely composed. The dog is a touch out of focus. |

Get Well Soonby ShutterPugComment: Love the dog. Anything with a cute pooch gets a one point boost. Perfect for the challenge. I find the texture of the couch a touch distracting, but with that face, it's ok!! Great clarity in the eyes. |

BIRTHDAY: "Sorry I missed your Party! ...NOT!"by Art RoflmaoComment: ROFL. Heh, you and I both had a little humor with ours. This is a hoot and brings me back to my college days. LOL Nice use of sepia. The dodge and burn is apparent but it really works. Hope there was some Advil handy. Fun composition! |

Thinking of Youby sherComment: I've seen similar cards - this looks like one you'd see at a Hallmark store!! Nice job. Good use of tone on tone. The light and shadows make the heart stand out in the wet sand. |

Missing Youby SonifoComment: LOL He seems perfectly content to just sit in the mailbox. Darling idea. The detail of his face is great and goes perfectly with the black mailbox. Good DOF too!! |

Be My Valentineby alison05Comment: Cute idea. I like that the rose is yellow and not red. I think I'd up the contrast just a touch and clone out the scrape on her knee. Really sweet - meets the challenge perfectly. |
