A bit contrived, but funny nonetheless. I think the checked tablecloth detracts from this - your eye gets caught up in it a bit. Great imagination. Hope you enjoyed your lunch!

I like the lighting of this. The movement of the hammer coming down is well achieved. Although I see that the fire is an integral part, I find it distracting as it is the bright part of the shot and I think we should be focusing on the guy. Maybe shoot from a different angle with the fire out of focus and more behind him, so we still know it's there, but zoom in on him more. Just a suggestion. Good luck.

I liked this the minute I saw it. Good ol' George with his cherry tree axe. The silhouette is nicely placed. Maybe even more space to the left and a tighter crop to the right would have worked for me. Nice sunset colors. 7

Darling little girl. Nice close up. I wish it were a touch more sharp. I'd love to see some glint in her eye as well. The DOF is good and the blue denim jacket adds a nice contrast to the golden tones in her hair. 7
