Watching the world go by on Lake Maggioreby Luca66Comment: Greetings from the Critique Club!!
At first glance, I sense a lonely feeling to this shot with the single figure looking out onto the night water. Maybe he's wishing he were on that boat. I like the composition and I think the overall image is quite nice with the two focal points. The black tree at the top of the image might be lessened by a quick crop. The shimmer of the water work to showcase the silhouette of the figure on the bench. This certainly meets the challenge and I say GOOD JOB. Keep up the good work. Judy |

No Messin' Aroundby trnqltyComment: Great close up. The clarity is really good, considering the situation. I like the blue and yellow - good contrast. |

Avis Girlby tonyvComment: This has great geometry and the repetiveness of the seats and words is quite effective. The single figure is like the period at the end of a long run on sentence! Very good. |

Fall in a medieval townby puzzledComment: I like this and thought wide angle immediately. I don't have issue with it not being "wide enough." I've never straightened out a thing using Adobe. I always use a simple version of Roxio Photo Suite 5 and it has a very user friendly way to do that But the "tilt" doesn't bother me because of the angle in which you did the shot. I love the rich reds and blues. It almost has a surreal quality to it. Nice!! ;~D |
